Heavy duty trap mats are made from abrasion-resistant SBR/PVC raw materials, producing a tough and durable rubber mat that is perfect for use in animal traps and cages. They are waterproof and designed to hold up where excessive moisture may be present. They can also be easily cleaned and disinfected in seconds. Trap mats are completely safe for animals and handlers. Animals can sometimes be reluctant to enter traps because the wire mesh bottom isn't natural to them. These mats eliminate that issue and animals will enter with confidence. A properly sized mat will run along the bottom from the front of the trap to the front of the sheet metal trip pan. Trapping tip: Create a scent trail by dragging bait down the center of the mat from front to back and place your bait behind the trip pan. This will lead your target animal right into the trap. This mat measures 30" x 18".
