Model 465 is our repeating plastic snake trap designed for catching small and medium size snakes up to 1-½" thick. The trap is made from durable polyethylene and will hold up against the elements for many years. It measures 17L x 12W x 12H.  Once a snake passes through the cone shaped trap door, escape is virtually impossible. The trap has a guillotine style release door to make releasing snakes or baiting the trap very easy. There are 8 quarter inch holes drilled into the sides of the trap for ventilation. The trap can be baited with our Strike-UM snake lure.

The trap comes with a Powder Coated finish to add extra solar heat to the trap enticing snakes to enter. The trap features two 24" wings that can be extended to the sides for funneling snakes into the trap. There is also a removable back door for easy release that features a welded on sheet metal plate for added protection while removing the rear door lock.

Model 463 is a snake/reptile trap with a 2 pan system designed to catch large snakes or reptiles only. Snakes and reptiles have long bodies that are either dragged along the ground or very low to the ground. This enables them to press both pans at the same time and trigger the trap. Other animals such as mammals will walk over one pan at a time and not trigger the trap. This trap also features a removable rear door for easy animal release.
