Description

The Easy Feral Handler offers a safe way to securely transfer a fractious cat from a trap to the net bag. With the cord lock of the net bag engaged, an animal care worker can easily move the netted cat away from the trap to perform tasks such as weigh, scan for microchip, medicate and transport. The net bag attaches to certain Tomahawk traps that have rear sliding doors, with a fitting that slides in behind the trap door. When the rear trap sliding door is removed, the cat can enter the net bag. The Easy Feral Handler can also be used without the trap’s sliding door in order to make the cat’s transfer to the net bag barrier free. The handy zipper at the bottom of the net makes for easier transfers to a cage or carrier. A great tool to help minimize physical contact with feral cats. Ideal for trap-neuter-return practices, animal shelters, hoarding cases, field rescue and disaster response.
