Description

Model RM306 is our newest restraint module specifically designed for easy handling of cats. Restraint modules are essential tools when absolute control of an animal is required. Our restraint modules feature sliding doors at both ends of the cage which eliminates the need to turn animals around or back animals out when done. This restraint module measures 20L x 11W x 12H" and is constructed from 1 x 1" - 14 gauge wire mesh. The module features an internal panel used to gently push your cat against the opposite side of the cage. The panel arms features notches that can lock into place by sliding them down onto the cage wire. This locking feature allows a single person to use the restraint module while tending to cats.

These are great. Once I have a new cat, I transfer it to this cage, and squeeze it to the side. I leave the door near the cat's head closed. On the back of the cage, I remove the door and insert a trap divider sideways into the cage so that the cat can't back out of the cage, but I have room at the top to reach my hand/arm in. I use another trap divider (also inserted sideways into the cage) just above the cat's neck so they can't turn their head around and get me. Then I can quickly scan them for a chip and apply flea treatment. Very fast and easy. If you have to move the cage around with a cat in it, the black bar is sticking out of the side so it's a little bulky and cumbersome to maneuver around. Not a big deal though. This is one of the most useful things I've gotten from Tomahawk.
